The origin of animation,“ Nishikikage”(“Utsushie” in Edo) has been revived with “Nishikikage Ikeda Group ”.
Its origins are in Edo-period Kyoto.A fantastic world is created by manipulating several wooden baths(slide projectors) in line with sounds and mouth, altering several drawings of seed plates reflected on a screen made of Japanese washi paper.Explore the skills of Edo-period Nishikikage with the manipulation of baths under this newly created theme.
