Photographer Hikaru Oyama, who is active around the world, meets a beautiful girl, Maumi, in Okinawa. While taking photographs of Maumi at a waterfall in the Yaeyama Islands, Oyama’s vision is pierced by strong sunlight, and sees white in front of him. Then he realizes that Maumi has disappeared.
Not knowing why, Oyama searched for Maumi, taking beautiful photographs of the beautiful scenery as he gets to know Okinawa’s nature, culture and art. Why did she disappear?
Was it all a dream? Was it“ Karanukan”, the god of the river...?
